National Justice for Animals Week Feb. 22 – 28, 2015



“No one is free when others are oppressed.” While the author of this quote is unknown, the sentiment can be claimed by anyone with a passion for compassion for animals in crisis. To draw attention to the need to provide a voice in the nation’s court system for dogs, cats and all of our friends with fur, fins and feathers, the Animal Legal Defense Fund is marking its annual National Justice for Animals Week from February 22 – 28, 2015.

Since the start of the special week to honor animal victims seven years ago, the Animal Legal Defense Fund has provided information to help those with a dogged extermination to create change, ranging from raising awareness through viewings of ALDF videos or documentaries like Madonna of the Mills or DogTown, to ways to combat animal abuse from your home computer.

A driving force in ensuring a better future for all creatures great and small since its founding in 1979, for more information regarding ALDF’s call to action for the sake of animal crime victims:
