Dolce Gabbana Festive Make Up
Getting ready for the Holidays and the many celebrations ahead, I stopped by at La Rinascente in Milan to check out the Dolce & Gabbana Collector’s Edition make up for 2014. The limited edition features a selection of colors and a special package perfect for the festive season.
As everything Dolce & Gabbana goes, the make up collection takes inspiration from its heritage in designing a beautiful package in crimson red while adding details of an ancient coin with the profile of Greek Goddess Athena.
I must confess that I didn’t want to use The Bronzer or The Illuminator at first because it felt wrong applying the brush over the beautiful coin design. As a Dolce Gabbana Collector’s Edition it is Ok just to keep it on the vanity table as a precious accessory.

For New Year’s Eve Dolce & Gabbana have though of some sparkling make up as well, inspired by the gems that can be found on the dresses of their Fall Winter 204/2015 collection like white crystals, smoky quartz and black jade which are also placed on the lipstick package.
What I found interesting in the Dolce & Gabbana Shimmer Glow make up is that the lipsticks for this limited edition collection can play well as eyeshadows, or cheek illuminators. The colors from the Shine Lipstick collection are Moon which is a silver glow, Crystal in platinium, Nude Shimmer in gold and Angel Rose in shiny pink. The package as well represents the gems
This second festive look is finished with the Dolce & Gabbana nail polish in Pearl Shimmer color.
