I am leaving for Istanbul tomorrow to attend the Ezra Tuba Haute Couture show and from the previews I’ve been following on Instagram the show is going to be ‘enlightened’. I had met the 2 designers years ago in Milan and they have come a long way in defining Turkish fashion.

The luggage is mentally done but physically will get finished just 1o minutes before leaving for the airport, like always. I’m really excited to go back to Istanbul after 4 years. The first time with my point and shoot camera I got some really amazing images, so this time with the gear upgrade I can’t wait to photograph this amazing city. A must read for everyone who visits Istanbul is the autobiographical book of the Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk. While my must haves for the trip are the colorful mini bag in python by Giancarlo Petrigli and the Omega De Ville Prestige Butterfly watch.
