Figs & Rouge Coco Vanilla Lipbalm Review

Okay, so I know I’ve been a bit MIA at the moment, but there is a very good reason for that. I’ll go into more detail at a later date… Preferably when I’m not sitting at my computer falling asleep against the keyboard.

I just wanted to do a quick review on this little gem. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s actually a joy to have! It is a scrub for the lips that when rubbed in gently, turns to a kind of Vaseline/gloss. One thing I particularly love is that it isn’t one of these lip products that lasts all of 5 seconds – this balm is wonderful as well as softening and moisturising; it stays on your lips for ages and stops mine from cracking, which is a HUGE issue for me in Winter. It also makes a great base for a lipstick or tint. The only thing that makes it even more amazing is the smell of vanilla. It’s one of my favourite scents and it isn’t overpowering. Oh, and it’s organic – that’s something I’m sure we can all get on board with.

I got mine from Boots for £4.99. This may seem expensive, but mine has lasted about 3 months and I still have half a tin left. This product is great for nourishing and softening your lips and I heartily recommend it to anyone who suffers as I do in Winter!
