Spike – The Wild Bunch, a wall shelf from Magis

When I visited Magis‘ Swedish agent Gulled a couple of months ago, I fell head over heels for this wall mounted shelf (or side table, I’m not really sure what to call it) that had just arrived in their showroom. Then I somehow forgot about it. Its name is Spike – The Wild Bunch, and while I would love to know how designer Konstantin Grcic came up with that name, I am even more interested in knowing how it would look next to my bed. It checks many of the boxes on my list of what I like to see in a product; marble, black, slightly industrial look and graphic geometric shapes, and I think it would add a perfect dose of interest to my bedroom which is otherwise quite plain. Spike is also available in other colours, like blue for example, and with other sizes, shapes and materials for the shelf.
