Defying Gravity . . . Literally

I’m definitely in coat heaven right now. Can we all take a minute to just appreciate how GORGEOUS this Green River Island Woollen Maxi Coat is? I walked into that store fully intending to grab a Camel coloured coat but got distracted by this beauty!! The funny thing is I rarely ever wear green and would normally never gravitate towards something that could make me look like a walking tree but I just love how this rich, emerald coat seems to stand out and make everything else fade into the background.

I actually wanted to wear a turtleneck jumper with this coat but I don’t think stores are selling them at the moment – as I can’t find any . . . anywhere – so I decided to pick up this Grey Cowl Neck Dress/Jumper hybrid looking thing as well. I think it’s meant to be a dress but it has these INSANE slits at the side and I’m just not brave enough to show my knick-knacks to the world yet. As my hair is a frizzy mess; thanks to non-stop rain, I had to quickly run indoors and grab my new Green Felt Fedora before taking these pictures, just so you don’t have to witness my hair defy gravity.
