Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara
I had a little set back with my Makeup Forever review-athon as my wifi went down for almost 5 days *dabs eyes with tissue* so I’ve not really been able to do half the things I originally wanted to do and have spent the last 2 days playing catch up – sorry guys – but I’m back with a blogging vengeance and more than ready to jump back in.
As I have already reviewed some of Makeup Forever’s “core products”, I knew I had to cover their mascara as mascara is such an everyday item that everyone wears and I need to give my two-cents (or rather two pence as I’m British).
The Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara – £17 via Debenhams – comes is available in 5 shades and is meant to be an ultra-pigmented mascara that can curl, lengthen and add volume to your lashes. As Makeup Forever is a brand new brand for me (and the majority of people in UK) that prides itself as being the “go-to” brand for beauty professionals and make up enthusiasts, I really wanted to know if the MUFE Smoky Lash was worth the hype and if it lives up to its claims.

At first glance, this MUFE mascara isn’t that impressive – plain, black packaging galore – and I wouldn’t rush off to grab my camera so I can Instagram the heck out of it but if we are to be completely honest, the packaging doesn’t matter half as much as the formula and mascara wand because that is where the magic happens.
I really like the brush on the MUFE Smoky Lash as it is reaches the tiny lashes in the inner corners of my lashes and does add a nice bit of definition. I would say that Smoky Lash mascara is a very nice every day mascara as it is very long-wearing and doesn’t smudge or flake – which FYI is a blessing as I can’t stop rubbing my eyes at the moment – but you will have to watch how many layers you apply otherwise your lashes will start to clump just a little.
