We all have different gifts we are born with, some of us are not only talented we are blessed with multiple abilities. Many individuals can sing, act, dance, write poetry others are wonderful at the work they do. I find that the abilities you acquire growing up are not only learned traits they are talent. You may be an irascible individual but, with your years of experience working with different individuals you have skillfully become a patient person. Having had many years of experience working (since I was 14) I have had the pleasure of working with countless folks. My attitude towards work has always been the same from a young age. I enjoy a schedule; I like to have structure in my daily routine. I have many hats I wear (metaphorically speaking) one of which is with a brand called Karen Millen. Who is Karen Millen?

Karen Millen is a multi-national London born women’s designer. However, the actual Karen Millen sold the company some years ago to a larger corporation. The designs have stayed true to the original designer’s bold, classy, and tailored structure. Many women come to KM without any intention of purchasing a gown. I begin with informing them how the designs work, which material would best suit their figure, ask them several questions, and have them try on different dresses. My clients come out of the dressing room praising the designer as though Karen Millen herself took their measurements and like the Fairy Godmother (Salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, Put ‘em together and what have you got, bibbidi-bobbidi-boo).

I guess you can call me their Fairy Godmother! Karen Millen designs are phenomenal. I am not being a biased for the reason that I work for the brand. I have purchased several knits, dresses, trousers, and t-shirts which none have torn, lost their shape or original color. The one issue I have is with my jeans I am sorry to say; I adore them so much I tend to wear them to death. I have taken it upon myself to write faux press releases, bios, fact sheets, and put together the companies PR. It is very stimulating to see the dress you worked on with a stylist to acquire for a hit show such as Grey’s Anatomy, news segment, famous person or a magazine like the one below! In recent times, many of our designs have been seen on television shows, countless celebrities, and fashion bloggers like Aimee Song.

I am thrilled to be a part of a growing brand that truly speaks to women. Karen Millen is a world-renowned designer however its popularity is slowly growing in the U.S market. The brands flagship store is located in Century City, California in addition many pop-up concessions at Bloomingdale’s. You may also visit their second store in California located in San Francisco.
