What it DOESN’T smell like:
-Cheap, synthetic vanilla perfume
-Chemicals
What it DOES smell like:
-Natural, REAL vanilla pods
-A tiny bit of honey!
I know scent shouldn’t be the basis of a review, but holy crow I’m seriously considering devising a system in which I can inhale this scent all day. Perhaps wear a bubble over my head and infuse it into the air? Suspend a small tray from my nose with a teaspoon of day cream on it? My inventions are endless-Dragons Den here I come!
Going back to reality, usually around late August/early September my skin goes through a bit of a tantrum and gets extremely dry. I suppose it’s to do with the weather changing or usually stress of starting a new term in school, but whatever it is…my skin gets dry. Very, very dry. I need a day cream that’s going to clear up my dry patches of skin and keep hydrating throughout the day. Occasionally, I use night creams as day creams, but they’re far too rich to wear under makeup. The Vanilla Pod Day Cream is a great balance of moisture and richness, yet light enough to sink into the skin comfortably.
When I use Antipodes products, they feel like they’re actually working throughout the day. Their Avocado Pear Night Cream is my all time favourite, so using this cream in combination with that has been a lifesaver for my skin lately. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs more moisture in their lives. This would be a great one for winter time!
Have you ever tried Antipodes?
