In all seriousness, I think they’re such a fun way to add interest to outfits that might otherwise be a bit blah. There are millions of different shapes, patterns, colours etc. so it’s really easy to go wild and find your own individual sunglasses style. I get a lot of sunglasses from car boot sales and thrift stores and I’m proud to say that my favourite pair of sunglasses only cost .50 cents! I really enjoy rummaging through a big box of old glasses, trying on lots of different ones only to find the perfect pair (clearly I’ve found a lot of perfect ones through the years hee hee). I also love the sunglasses at Topshop, ASOS, & Other Stories and Whistles, but I think I’ve got enough to last me for awhile!
Anyway, if you’re here to find out where I got this handy little organiser I’m happy to tell you that it’s available via eBay here. I’m sure there are lots of different ones, but I just typed in ‘travel glasses case’ and this was the first one that popped up. The one I have holds 18 glasses and is meant for travelling purposes, but clearly I don’t take this many glasses with me when I go on vacation (although I have been tempted). You can see the quality of this case isn’t amazing and it’s actually quite flimsy, so I think the price is quite high but I couldn’t find anything else like it! Since this has a permanent home in my drawer I’m planning on cutting the top off (right now I just fold the lid under) to create a bit more room.
So if you were like me and were in dire need of a sunglasses storage solution I hope this helped give you some ideas!
Below are some sunglasses ranging in price point, but what I usually look for is that they’re big, I like a cat-eye, I like tortoise shell and I like them to be simple. Experiment & tweet me a picture of your favourite sunglasses!
