My Week of Outfits: Everygirl Cofounder Danielle Moss (The Everygirl)

I don’t have any “capsule wardrobe” rules and probably own too many pairs of stretchy skinny jeans (like seven? make that definitely ) but a few years ago I made the decision to only own and wear what I really love. I donated and sold what I never wore and filled in any missing gaps with (mostly) timeless pieces. It was a serious overhaul, but it paid off — I (usually, I’m only human) have something to wear every day that I actually like and am excited to put on.

Monday

My fall wardrobe is almost always jeans and a sweater or jacket, and I usually live in 2-3 pairs of the same jeans (Parker Smith and Rag & Bone are my forever go-tos) and rotate between sneakers and loafers.

Tuesday

My day-to-day is a mix of going into The Everygirl office and working from home, so I keep it pretty casual.

Wednesday

My entire wardrobe is black, white, grey, and camel with a few touches of navy, hunter green, and blush. I do most of my shopping at Nordstrom, Shopbop, Madewell, and J. Crew. (Hey, I know what I like.)

Thursday

When I shop for clothes, I don’t focus on trends or pieces I like… but know don’t fit into my lifestyle or mix well with my current wardrobe. It’s all about editing yourself and figuring out exactly what you like — it can be a serious challenge, but it’s been worth for my wardrobe and my peace of mind.

Friday

Leather leggings are my go-to to add interest to any outfit — I love pairing them with simple, classic Nikes and a white tee. To add a little more pulled-together-ness, I topped it all with a drapey trench and my trusty crossbody. Weekend, here I come.
