This is a sponsored post. All ideas and opinions are 100% my own.

Giant paper flowers can instantly add a festive and pretty touch to any party! The Big Bloom Kits have everything you need in one box to create DIY flowers that will make you look like the hostess of the year!

These are perfect for summer parties, bridal showers, weddings, baby showers and birthdays….well, really any kind of party! I’ve always wanted to make those extra large paper flowers that I’ve seen in magazines, but the ideas of cutting all the pieces seemed a bit overwhelming to me.

This kit made it possible for me to decorate without spending a week preparing…that works for me! They’re available in a wide range of colors and sizes. Each box includes petals, center pieces and even some awesome adhesive {like super double-sided tape}.

Here’s a look at how I decorated for a birthday party with them…

I have a colorful piano and chalkboard right near at the entrance to our house. It’s one of my favorite spots to decorate for any holiday or special occasions. It’s the first thing people see when they walk in, and I love for it to set the festive mood.

I had a variety of flowers and colors to create…the more the better!

At the last minute I decided to add this giant bloom right on the front door….LOVE IT!

This is what the petals look like when you start.

There are a few different sizes, a circle for the base, a flower center, a sparkly center and some awesome tape. All you need are scissors and you’re ready to start getting crafty!

The directions will help you along the way, but here’s a look at some of the steps.

I started with the large petals. Just slide the bottom pieces one over the other and add a piece of tape on the back. Then bend up the top of the petal so they have a relaxed and pretty look to them.

Here’s what it looks like on the other side. Wait to remove the white strip from the bottom of you tape until you’re ready to stick them on the base circle.

Tip…cut a ton of little pieces of tape right before you start to make it super fast.

I made all the large petals first and then I started adding them to the base circle. Just remove the white strip and stick. Easy peasy!

Make all of the next size petals. Stick them around the center.

Repeat on the smallest size petals.

Then bend up the center and stick the sparkly circle right in the middle. Attach it to the center of you flower with the sticky tape.

You’re done and feeling pretty good about yourself by now.

Make a ton and add them all over. They would be beautiful down the center of a picnic able or hanging from trees.

The possibilities of these flowers from these Big Bloom Kits are endless! Just think how cute they would look in a girl’s bedroom or a craft studio…yep, pretty awesome!

You can purchase your Recollections kits at your local Michaels store or online. They have an wide selection of colors and sizes at the store near me.

I’d love to hear about any of your upcoming party plans! Do you go big or keep it simple?
