The last couple of days have been pretty busy. How has it been for you? In our home where work and home-life often collide, it's sometimes hard to stick to daily routines. So, when work overflows, we usually quit the idea of a proper meal and opt for a quick fix. We have a few tried and tested sandwiches that are still super nutritious and healthy to get us through the day. So, if you find yourself juggling too many things, drop the idea of a cooked meal and have one of those quick fixes instead.
Starting with
juicy tomato and hummus tartines (above).
Sourdough baguette with smashed avocado, salt, pepper and some grapes on the side.
Two slices of whole wheat bread one topped with guacamole, cress, lemon juice and hemp-seeds, and the other one topped with almond butter, banana slices and hemp-seeds.
Muesli toast with labneh, hazelnuts and honey.
Sliced banana and crunchy peanut butter on sprouted grain toast topped with pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
And our newest favorite take on
avocado toast: tahini, cucumber, fresh lime juice and red pepper flakes.
