Black, White + Scalloped Sandals

Sole Society sandals c/o size 5, A.J. Morgan sunglasses (3 colors), Chanel bag Lush floral skirt xs (runs small), American Apparel crop top sz M
For those of you looking for summer walking shoes, my Sole Society scalloped sandals are currently on final sale! They are adorable flat shoes for strolling around, fit true to size (front strap is slightly on the narrow side), and are comfortable with no breaking-in needed. One note though is the soles are on the thin and flat side, so for a lot of walking I'd suggest adding a stick-on cushion insert on the soles for padding, right below where your heels go. There is a mid-heel version of these sandals as well.

I also wanted to share this floral skirt that runs on the smaller side and fit high on my waist without alterations. I love finding pieces in regular sizing that are surprisingly petite-friendly. It comes with a coordinating top too if you want to wear it as a set! An XS regular measures 12" across the waist with no stretch, and the skirt is lined with an invisible back zip. It also looks cute with a black & white striped tee or mustard-colored top.

This old American Apparel crop top just keeps on giving...it's a workhorse staple and goes with so much. Do ignore the provocative images on the website, and trust it can look fairly classic if you size up (I'm wearing a M, although a S fit okay as well) and pair it strategically. I wear this mostly with high-waisted bottoms, when I don't want the bulk of a tucked-in top.

A cute golden retriever was intently watching us during the entire shoot...I don't think he moved once from this position! Unbeknownst to me, Nick was thoroughly amused and distracted by the pup, so the majority of our photos turned out like this...
