Color me happy

There are points in our lives that aren't as glamours as we would've hoped. There are times when it's easy to be down because of events out of one's control. There certainly are moments when it's hard to keep one's standard, chin or heels high (think bulky sweater and baggy sweatpants days). Whether we like it or not, those not particularly happy moments are just simply part of life.
However, it's when I'm in those unhappy moments that I particularly appreciative of this blog and what it allows me to accomplish. This blog gives me a space to simply be. There is nothing complicated about this creative place. The images (thanks to my talented photographer friend Marcus), never fail to bring a smile to my face. The outfit choices appeared on this blog followed the same philosophy, dress in ways that make me happy and no one else.
Now that this blog is more than two and a half years old, I'm reminded just why I created it in the first place. It is a constant reminder to grab life by the balls, and simply be fabulous.
