Pretty Freezer Cooking Printables

Ever since I started freezer cooking, I made a notebook, or manual, to keep my recipes and printables in.
Over the years it has changed. Some things worked and some didn't. I wanted to share with you, how I like to organize my freezer recipes and helps.
First, start with a plain white binder. You can easily find one at Walmart or Target. I pick one with a clear, plastic sleeve over the outside.
Second, I use the plastic sleeves (I buy them in a pack) to place my recipes in so that I can wipe splashes and sugar off of them.
Third, pick some pretty tabs to label your different food and meal groups.
That is the framework for your manual.
Here is a pretty cover that you can print on white card stock and slip in the clear sleeve on the front of your manual.

Here is another printable that you can slide into a plastic sleeve and keep in the front of your manual.
This contains very simple reminders before freezer cooking and also lists some idea-joggers for meals.

Behind your printable, you may want to include a sleeve that contains multiple Freezer Checklists. This way you can easily pull one out and use when needed.
Here is a simple pantry check list of items frequently needed for freezer cooking. I slid this into the back of the binder sleeve so I can easily pull it out and see what I need.

You may also want to include any equivalency charts in the front.
If you keep multiple plastic sleeves available, you can print full page recipes from your favorite blogs and put them in before losing or forgetting about them.

As before, you may want to use the plastic notebook sleeves to protect your guides and recipes. If you are like me in the kitchen - things fly, splash and splatter!

Here is a picture of my manual.

There you have it! A simple, yet bright freezer manual that can change with your cooking style.

About once-per-year, I go through my manual and ditch the recipes I don't use and add the new ones that work.

Have fun!
