#FBF Milani Lip Intense Liquid Lip Color
One of the best parts about being a makeup junkie is being able to shop your stash. Sometimes new products and collections come at us way too fast and we find ourselves snatching up everything. Completely forgetting about all of the good stuff right at home!
Since liquid lipsticks are all the rage lately I dug up these oldies but goodies–the Milani Lip Intense Liquid Lip Colors. Flashback to last spring when they were first released: I was crazy about them! You know. Until the next shiny new thing came out and I kinda forgot about them. But I couldn’t forget them for long!
The Milani Lip Intense Liquid Lip Colors have a pretty great formula that’s pigmented, creamy, easy to apply and comfortable to wear. They actually remind me a lot of the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. Both formulas have a similar lightweight, slightly emollient texture that softly sets to a satin finish that lasts for around 4-6 hours before fading into a nice stain. I wouldn’t necessarily consider the shades I have as spot on dupes but they stack up pretty nicely with a few of the melted shades. For instance:
- Fiery Coral, a bright coral pink, is similar to Melted Candy
- Violet Addict, a vibrant violet, is similar to Melted Violet
- Pink Rave, a hot fuchsia pink, is similar to Melted Fuchsia
Currently, there’s only 4 shades available but maybe if we’re good girls and boys this year we’ll be gifted with a variety of new shades to collect. Fingers crossed!
