Festival Style

I know I’m not the first to report on festival style, but I just couldn’t help putting my two cents in about some of the amazing fashion statements being made at the various music fests going on this spring.

First: It’s an oldie, but a goodie- hats, headbands and head wraps. We accessorize nearly every inch of our bodies (hello earrings, rings, necklaces, shoes…) so why not our heads? It can add a great little boost of personality to an outfit.
Second: Cross-body bags. They’re cute, they’re stylish, and they’re convenient. Need I say more?
Third: There is always general flowy-ness to festival outfits that’s so appealing. It’s an easiness that allows you to move, dance and twirl ’til your hearts content. And, if you pick fabrics that drape nicely on your body, you can have loosely cut items that allow you to move around all day that are still figure flattering. The best of both worlds!
