The Eat Now delivery race

Sometimes you just can’t be bothered to cook or even leave the house to get food. Sometimes you just want some friendly man to bring food right to your door in plastic containers so that you don’t even have to wash up. Christmas eve eve was one of those sometimes and I invited a few friends round for a sort of “round the world” take out dinner.

We ordered from 3 different places off Eat Now and made bets on who would arrive first. Maya Tandoori made it first with a smiley man running to my door – it’s like he knew he was in a race. 2 minutes after came the man from Wandee Thai who brought over free bananas (!!!) followed by Lorentto Pizzeria.

Take out food never really looks the best, but it’s always so comforting.

Maya Tandoori – Fish moulli curry and chicken tikka masala.

Wandee Thai – Half a duck in tamarind sauce and classic pad kee mao.

Lorentto Pizzeria – Hawaiian (my favourite topping, shut up) and margerita.

So these dishes aren’t really meant to go hand in hand together, but it made for a fun night and probably the most easy and lazy dinner party I’ve ever hosted.
