Fashion Bento ( ben-toh) proper noun : A blog written by two girls who were born and raised in Japan; covers an array of style-related topics, packed conveniently into one website for your enjoyment.
What makes us different from any other fashion/beauty blog?
To continue with the food analogies (btw, props to Tina for coming up with our blog name!), we both grew up in Tokyo so naturally our content will be heavily seasoned with ‘Japanesey-ness’, i.e. featuring Japanese brands & products, bold looks, a little quirkiness. Nevertheless, we’ve both been lucky enough to travel, live overseas, and become good friends with people from around the globe. This upbringing has made us highly interested in and influenced by different cultures. So….we guess you could say Fashion Bento would be like a lunch box put together at some Las Vegas hotel buffet – very international!
…and lastly
Bento boxes are great because they’re FUN. Our goal is to recreate that “ooo what’s for lunch today?!”excitement when you access our blog. And, of course, we hope you always leave satiated :)
