How to wear a wrap dress in winter, when it's cold ? A good idea can be to pair it with one of this season's "hottest" fabrics: velvet ! I wore this beautiful Avelina wrap dress with a deep V neckline from spanish brand Smash!, with a slim fit turtleneck and my velvet over the knee boots from Le Silla. The outcome is very feminine, the layering doesn't alter the bodycon cut of the dress and, cherry on top, this look keeps me warm enough !.

Come indossare un abito a portafoglio in inverno, quando fa freddo ? Una buona idea può essere quella di abbinarlo con uno dei tessuti più "in" di questa stagione: il velluto ! Ho indossato questo bellissimo abito avvolgente Avelina, dall'ampio scollo a V, del brand spagnolo Smash! con una maglia aderente a collo alto e i miei nuovi stivali over the knee, sempre in velluto, di Le Silla. Il risultato è molto femminile, gli strati non alterano il taglio aderente dell'abito e, ciliegina sulla torta, il look mi tiene abbastanza al caldo !.

Velvet boots are everywhere and I couldn't resist to these over the knee beauties from one of my favorite italian brand, Le Silla. They add a trendy touch and aren't hard to wear as you might think: they are perfect under a long or even a short dress, they will be worn as evening boots but as you can see they can also be an excellent daytime choice. There are many ways to wear a wrap dress, invented by Diane Von Furstenberg more than forty years ago and worn by so many women all over the world. This one from Smash! has a beautiful abstract print with touches of my favorite color: blue, and also a very reasonable price. Usually I don't feel comfortable in wearing very deep necklines when it's cold and wearing a turtleneck was the easiest solution ! If you want to do it too, my advice is to mantain the same color of the turtleneck also for your lower part so that the dress keeps standing out and your figure looks more slender. Gli stivali in velluto sono davvero alla moda e non ho potuto resistere a queste bellezze sopra al ginocchio di uno dei miei brand italiani preferiti, Le Silla. Aggiungono un tocco trendy e non sono difficili da abbinare come potreste pensare: io li trovo perfetti sotto ad un abito lungo ma anche ad uno corto, saranno indossati da me la sera ma come potete vedere rendono molto anche come scelta da giorno. Ci sono molti modi di indossare un abito a portafoglio, inventato da Diane Von Furstenberg più di quaranta anni fa e indossato da tante donne in tutto il mondo. Questo di Smash! ha una bella stampa astratta con tocchi del mio colore preferito: il blu, ed ha un prezzo davvero conveniente. Di solito non mi sento a mio agio a indossare scollature molto profonde quando fa freddo e indossare un collo alto è stata la soluzione più semplice !. Se volete farlo anche voi, il mio consiglio è che manteniate lo stesso colore della maglia a collo alto per la parte inferiore in modo che il vestito continui a spiccare e la vostra figura sembri più slanciata. Che ne pensate degli abiti avvolgenti e degli stivali in velluto ?
