Welcome to a new column on this fashion blog: "tv shows fashion", featuring Cookie Lyon from Empire. Some of you will already know I am a huge tv shows addict, and I have decided to merge my passion for tv series by analyzing my favorite carachters as a fashion blogger. Today I wanna talk about Cookie Lyon, one of the main carachters of the tv show "Empire", played by Taraji P. Henson (already Agent Carter on Person of Interest). Empire record is a hip hop music and entertainment company, and the show is about all the drama going on among the members of the founders' family to take control of the company. Everything with great hip hop music, one of my favorite kind of music, and so much fashion, even with the actors - I remind you even Naomi Campbell has a role in Empire !. I love Cookie's carachter, she is always over the top and just like her behaviour loud and sometimes scandalous, her style is very eye catching, sexy and fierce !. The other day I was reading the news about the Baltimora mom and in a way, Cookie is a mother of three who is not afraid to speak her mind. Not only Cookies' fashion collection is wide and bold, there is already a long list of Cookie Lyon quotes that is worth reading !.

Benvenuti nella nuova rubrica su questo fashion blog, "tv shows fashion", oggi incentrata su Cookie Lyon di Empire. Alcuni di voi già sapranno che sono una fan di molte serie tv e ho deciso di incorporare quì questa passione, parlandovi dei miei personaggi preferiti come fashion blogger. Oggi vi parlo di Cookie Lyon, uno dei personaggi principali della serie tv "Empire", interpretata dalla Taraji P. Henson già conosciuta al grande pubblico come Agente Carter in Person of Interest. L'Empire Entertainment è una casa discografica che si occupa di musica hip hop, e lo show parla della lotta tra i membri della famiglia del fondatore per acquisirne il controllo. Il tutto, condito da ottimo hip hop, che è tra i miei generi preferiti, e tanta moda, persino tra i personaggi - vi ricordo che in Empire ha un ruolo persino Naomi Campbell !. Amo in personaggio di Cookie, è sempre fuori dagli schemi e proprio come il suo comportamento, spesso chiassoso e a volte oltraggioso, il suo stile è molto aggressivo, sexy e vistoso !. L'altro giorno, nel guardare il video della mamma di Baltimora, ho pensato in qualche modo a Cookie, mamma di tre ragazzi che non avrebbe esitato un attimo a farsi sentire con forza. Non solo la moda di Cookie comprende tanti abiti ed è vistosa, c'è anche un lungo elenco di frasi di Cookie Lyon che sono da ricordare !.

Fashion and Cookie have a deep bond: of course Cookie Lyon style is a little bit too much and you have to consider it in relation to her role. There is no doubt that the actress Taraji P. Henson and the costume designer of Empire tv show must have so much fun creating Cookie's outfits. If you wanna dress like Cookie Lyon, the key pieces are: bodycon dresses, animalier prints including leopard and snake prints and big golden jewelry. Stiletto ankle boots or simple stiletto pumps are a must have, I have never seen Cookie wearing sneakers !. Wearing a fedora hat is also a must, with the best it-bags and clutches, and it is very important to have a self-confident attitude. Cookie is not afraid to flaunt her curvy body, in a dress or in flare pants, and she loves sexy underwear. Of course, she is just a fictional carachter, so take her fashion lessons in small doses and you'll have fun ! I must confess I have my own dose of pimp style clothes that I am sure Cookie would approve, including leopard faux furs and the same Valentino Rockstud heels that Cookie Lyon sported. I just wish I had her fierce attitude ! LOL !. Do you watch Empire ? It's really a great, fun show, aired on Fox tv !.

La moda e Cookie hanno un legame forte: naturalmente, lo stile di Cookie Lyon è decisamente troppo e dovete considerarlo in relazione al suo ruolo nello show. Di sicuro, sia l'attrice Taraji P. Henson che la costumista di Empire devono divertirsi molto creando gli outfit di Cookie. Se volete emulare Cookie Lyon, i capi chiave sono: abiti aderenti, stampe animalier, sia leopardate che pitonate, e gioielli vistosi in oro. Stivaletti o pumps dal tacco a spillo sono un must have, non ho mai visto Cookie con un paio di sneakers !. I cappelli modello fedora sono un altro must, come le migliori it-bag e clutch, importanti quanto avere un atteggiamento sicuro di sè. Cookie non ha paura di mostrare le sue curve, sia con abiti che con pantaloni dal taglio aderente o scampanato, e adora la biancheria sexy. Ovviamente, si tratta solo di un personaggio inventato, per cui prendete le sue lezioni fashion a piccole dosi e vi divertirete !. Io confesso di avere una bella dose di abbigliamento che a Cookie piacerebbe indossare nel mio guardaroba, incluse le mie ecopellicce leopardate e ho anche le stesse Rockstud Valentino che ha sfoggiato in un episodio. Baratterei qualcosa volentieri con il suo atteggiamento fiero, LOL !. Voi guardate Empire ? E' una serie molto ben fatta che vi consiglio, da noi viene trasmessa su Fox !.
