Did Somebody Say Snood?

Snood is such an odd word, but it's a synonym for "infinity scarf". And for those of you unfamiliar with that term as well, it's just a scare that's a circle and you put it around your neck. AKA the best kind of scarf. J.Crew insists on calling it a snood, and in my eyes J.Crew is divine, so I'll refer to it as a snood here and now. As the weather starts to drop substantially, it's essential to layer up. Keeping warm and stylish at the same time can be a task, especially when it starts to become extremely cold. Luckily, I'm situated in Syracuse, N.Y. so I have all the tips you could possibly need. The overbearing tip is one word: snoods! These scarves compare to none other. They wrap around your whole neck and never untie, they're normally bulky and cozy and they've become so popular you can find them in just about any color/pattern/whatever it is you're looking for. Snoods are the new black. Of course to be as warm as possible, you want to make sure the material is suited for the low temperatures that winter brings. Wool or cashmere scarves will be your best friend, and are well-worth the price. Just think, if it's going to keep you warm you'll use it for more than one winter and you'll get your money's worth. To me, that's better than buying a few new scarves every winter. I'd rather have a couple of great quality ones that I can wear, and then store for the rest of the year. Snoods are a great investment, and I'm a proud owner of, well, too many. I'm telling you, they're the key to keeping cozy during the winter. When a mighty gust of wind comes, all you have to do is hide under your snood, and your neck and face will be saved. If these parts of your body are warm, you'll be able to get through the day comfortably and with less complaints. So remember snoods next time you're out shopping. Stop by J.Crew, Gap and Urban Outfitters for the best selections. Happy snood shopping!
Keep cozy & carry on. xx, ZM IMAGE VIA PINTERST
