Dress for Change

Hey, everyone! I am writing this post about an awesome project called Dress for Change. For only $5 and a simple pledge, you can be providing clothing for a little girl in Africa. Want to know more? Keep reading!
The mastermind behind this project is my friend, Sheyanne Root, a senior at Burns High School. So, what is Dress for Change? Basically, it is a pledge to wear a little black dress every day for one week (April 1st-April 7th). You pay $5 to participate. For every person that joins this project, Sheyanne is pledging to sew a dress for an unprivileged girl in Africa. She is going to donate the dresses she makes to a charity called Dresses for Africa, which has already supplied over 1.5 million dresses to girls in Africa. Sounds good, right?
Here's how to join: 1. Email your name to [email protected]. 2. Visit http://lbddressforchange.blogspot.com/ and give $5 through Paypal OR request Sheyanne's address via email to send $5 in the mail. 3. Find a stylish little black dress and prepare to wear it from April 1st-April 7th. You can accessorize it as much as you desire to make it look different each day! 4. Tell your friends, your sisters, your mother, and everybody else! Share this post on Facebook. Tweet and Instagram about the project using the hashtag #dressforchange. And of course, spread the pledge through word of mouth! For only $5, you can give a little girl in Africa something to wear. (Plus, knowing Sheyanne, it will be a very cute dress!)
To learn more about Dress for Change and sign up, visit http://lbddressforchange.blogspot.com/! Hurry! The project starts April 1st, and you don't want to pass this up!
This is not a sponsored post. I personally know Sheyanne, and this project is a great way to show kindness and charity by only spending $5. I signed up myself, and I will be blogging my 7 ways to wear a little black dress! SIGN UP! And of course, let me know in the comments if you are getting involved. Everyone is welcome to blog about this project!
