New Season Shopping

I find it very hard not to shop at this time of year. I think there’ll always be that back-to-school feeling ingrained in me come September, and it somehow feels like a far better time for fresh starts than January. Because let’s be honest, January is really only ever good for hibernating with box sets and leftover chocolate money. And while September used to mean a new pencil case and value packs of highlighters, now it’s transitional knitwear, perfectly-cropped pleather pants and ankle boots that are on my annual hit list.

Thankfully, we’re not alone with this need for the new. September sees fashion month commence, with international designers offering up new collections and trends for us to start coveting in advance, and London’s Regent Street gets into the spirit with Fashion’s Night Out in association with Vogue allowing for later, cheaper and all round funner shopping when we want it most. So before I head to New York later this week, I’m teaming up with Armani Exchange and hosting their FNO event tomorrow night (September 10th), picking out an edit of favourite pieces (this jumper and trousers are two of many) and generally mingling with a glass in hand. I’ll be choosing a winner at the end of the evening to win my Edit and those who post pictures on social from the photo booth at the event will get 20% off there and then.

So if you’re in the market for some new pieces or just in the mood for a chat over some proseco with yours truly, please come along and join us tomorrow at the Armani Exchange store from 6-9 p.m. See you soon!
