Think saying hello to a rainy day means saying goodbye to style? Think again. A soggy day (or two or three) can’t stop New York Fashion Week showgoers and it shouldn’t stop you, either. Some style tips to steal? Get an extremely cool clear umbrella (anything else will do, but these are the cutest and show off your whole look). If you can’t bring the umbrella, opt for a head covering that will keep you dry (and chic), like a leather beret or headscarf. A trench — in classic khaki or some other fun design — is a must. If (or when) all else fails, embrace the damp since the wet look is (usually) in. Take the lead from these showgoers for excellent rainy day style.
