Fresh off a New Year’s Eve couples stomach flu and the whole world seems to have a new sheen to it. Not having my entire life revolve around Instacart’s next delivery time has this empowering quality to it, as does having the energy to do things like drive a motor vehicle and prop ones head up. So yes all the cold weather traveling definitely caught up with me but I’m so excited to have woken up from a misery haze to a new year and that fresh start feeling. Every day and most minutes I think about how lucky I am to do what I love for a living. There’s so much excitement I can’t wait to share – all the ARE YOU AM I newness, the long necessary and finally begun project of building out a custom closet, that terrifying first class at Tracy Anderson, planning trips to places I’ve never been, becoming Ottolenghi’s disciple without him having to know. Hi 2015!
