DIY Valentine’s Day Gifts

I love to get each of my girlfriends a little gift on Valentine’s Day, so this year I decided to be a bit crafty and do something DIY! I started thinking what do girls want on Valentine’s Day… chocolate, obviously! So I found the cutest cellophane gift bags and got to work. While these are incredibly easy to assemble, it’s amazing how putting a little effort into your gift is so much more meaningful than a store-bought box of chocolates! So whether you are brainstorming a fun idea to bring people at the office, need to bring your V-day party hostess a gift, or simply want to put a smile on a single gal’s face, I have a feeling these treat bags will do the trick!

To create these little Valentine’s Day treats, I started with a pack of heart cellophane bags {similar}. I then laid out a selection of red and white candies including Lindt Lindor truffles, Hershey kisses, red licorice bites, and white chocolate covered pretzels, but of course get creative with your favorites. My favorite part was the finishing touch, a set of ‘XO hangtags’ {from Chicfetti} that I used to seal the bags. And that’s it… spread Valentine’s Day cheer to friends and family. XOXO
