Dreaming in Suede

Let’s be honest, a great moto jacket can be life changing. I always have to laugh when I hear the quote, “I thought my life would suddenly improve if I got a leather jacket…and I was literally 100% totally right.” I am not sure who said that, but I would have to 100% totally agree! A great leather jacket is one of those pieces that are investment worthy (whatever that may mean for your budget).

For today’s look I am literally styling the jacket of my dreams, which I found at Nordstrom. It is by Burberry and I am a huge fan of their outerwear in general. Their cuts are always incredibly flattering and the quality is always amazing…their jackets are meant to last a lifetime (with proper care, of course).

What makes this particular jacket especially unique is the removable shearling collar – it’s like getting two jackets in one (make sure you notice the shearling collar in some of the pics). Other key factors that persuaded me to invest in this particular jacket is the gorgeous color suede, stunning moto details, and the most beautiful pale gold hardware (works equally well when pairing with pieces that have either gold or silver hardware). Seriously, the hardware is incredible (the pics don’t do them justice)! I know this jacket will be a favorite for years to come.
