Hair Lusting // Messy Curls
Spring is on its way in (Thursday is the first day of Spring!) and I’m leaning towards rocking carefree, messy curls and tousled waves during the warmer months. Well, whenever those warmer months decide to show up, that is. I’m really loving the unstructured look of messy curls. Sometimes it’s okay not to have every hair in its place, you know?

When I saw myself in these photos after dyeing my natural hair blonde, I wondered, “Why don’t I wear my hair like this more often?” I’ve always been a stickler for having my hair perfectly in place, no curl left behind. But I dunno…maybe I’m coming into my own? I’m just not here for that perfectly structured aesthetic anymore. Especially because I just don’t have the head space to worry about whether or not my curls are all going in the right direction. There are just so many other things I have to think about…
This look is so carefree and easy-going. Messy curls are fab, aren’t they?
