Nashville Bridal Shower High Tea Inspiration

Is there anything more elegant than a classic High Tea? I love the theme of tea time for a bridal shower; it’s utterly sophisticated while also providing a relaxed and soothing atmosphere– just what a bride needs! Serve a handful of courses (yum, pastries!) with different flavored teas for your favorite girls and ask everyone to wear an over-the-top hat (channel Derby Day!) for a delightful afternoon celebration.

This tea party was hosted by Thistle Stop Café in Nashville as a way to showcase their space for area event professionals. I love the lace and floral combination– and those tea cup chandeliers! Putting those on my list of one-day-DIYs…

From The Collection: Thistle Stop Cafe is a part of Thistle Farms and Magdalene– a treatment program that rescues women from prostitution, trafficking, and addiction. It is a residential program that for two years offers housing, food, medical and dental needs, therapy, education and job training without charging the residents or receiving government funding. Thistle Stop Cafe and Thistle Farms provides jobs for these woman to earn a sustainable wage. Thistle Stop Cafe hosted a high tea for local area wedding vendors to showcase their space. Each course had a tea that coincided with it!
