Mrs. Bunny Cottontail is a little spring bunny that is fun and totally squishable. She has a fun spring flower and an adorable little bunny tail too! Mrs. Bunny Cottontail is perfect to tuck into a basket for someone special.

Sizing:
- 4.5 inches tall (from tops of ears to bottom)
- 3 inches tall - body height only (without ears)
- 2.5 inches wide
- ears are 1.5 inches tall
- 6.5 inch body circumference
Note: Sizing is approximate depending on what yarn is used and how much bunny is filled with stuffing.
Instructions:
Ears (make 2):
Ch 4 and join in the furthest ch from the hook to make a ring. In the center of the ring work 2 sc, dc, tr, dc, 2 sc, sl st. Fasten off and leave tails intact for sewing to bunny later.
Flower (make 1):
Ch 4, join in the ch furthest from the hook to make a ring. Work a (dc, sl st) five times in the center of the ring to make 5 petals. Join with a sl st to close round and fasten off, leaving tails intact for sewing onto bunny later. If you like, you can glue or sew a button to the center of the flower.
Body base: (Bunny is worked from the bottom up)
With green yarn, ch 4 and join in the chain furthest from hook to form a ring. Ch 3, and work 11 dc into the center of the ring. Join with a sl st to close round. Do not fasten off and continue to the next section.
Body sides (note: for this section, the bunny alternates between pink and green striping with a white top for the head):
Round 1 (green): ch 1 and work a sc in each st around. Join with a sl st to close round. Round 2 (pink): repeat round 1 Round 3 (green): repeat round 1 Round 4 (pink): repeat round 1 Round 5 (green): repeat round 1 Round 6 (white): repeat round 1 Round 7 (white): repeat round 1 Round 8 (white): repeat round 1 Round 9 (white): repeat round 1 Do not fasten off and continue to next section.
Body decrease (top of head):
With white yarn still, ch 1, then sc2tog in each st around. Repeat for the next round. Fasten off, leave an 6-8 inch tail, then proceed below to "Finishing & Assembly" section.
