The 15 Festive Favourites Christmas tag

I don't usually get around to doing any tags - although I do enjoy reading them - but as I'm so excited for Christmas at the moment, when I spotted the 15 Festive Favourites tag on Alina's blog beauty with charm, I instantly wanted to give it a go! I've also just finished re-decorating my living room and getting new sofas in time for Christmas, so I thought I'd share a few snaps alongside my festive favourites.
Favourite festive food Christmas dinner has to be up there, but probably my top favourite food is the Christmas cheeseboard - so bad but oh so good.
Favourite reindeer I guess Rudolph seeing as he's the famous one!
Favourite day of Christmas Christmas day, but I also love the whole run up to Christmas and the excitement of Christmas eve. I also like to treat Boxing Day as just another Christmas day too.

Favourite Christmas song Everyone likes The Pogues' Fairytale of New York, but I don't see the appeal. I love Mariah's All I want for Christmas and Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses.
Favourite present Generally I get a lot of makeup for Christmas as that's what I ask for. The presents I'm most looking forward to this year are mostly makeup related - I can't wait to get my hands on my new blush palettes from Nars and Benefit.
Favourite festive film This is tough as I rarely watch films I've seen before, even at Christmas. One I never mind seeing again and again though is Love Actually.

Favourite cracker toy They're all rubbish! One year I bought large crackers and stuffed lipsticks inside - they were definitely the best cracker gifts.
Favourite cracker joke I can never remember jokes whether they're from crackers or wherever - some cracker jokes are so lame and repetitive though that I do manage to remember the punch lines! What do you call a polar bear at the North Pole? Lost...
Favourite Christmas decorations I love a bauble. We bought all new decorations this year and I got some lovely white baubles. We bought from lots of different shops picking out a couple of each bauble we liked. The ones we have on our tree are from Marks and Spencer, Asda, John Lewish, Primark, B&Q and Homebase.

Favourite Christmas candle scent I used to really like all the pudding type scents but this year I've been much more into the Christmas tree ones - I think it's because I've got a real Christmas tree for the first time and they enhance the smell!
Favourite Christmas advert The John Lewis adverts are the best - I love the penguins this year, but I'm still hung up on the one from last year with the little boy who can't wait for Christmas to give his Mum and Dad their present. Awwww!
Favourite festive tradition Cheesy, but the time I spend with my family at Christmas is one of my favourite things about the day. We have the same little routines every year and I wouldn't change a thing. It's all tradition for there to be an argument by dinner time!

Favourite place to spend Christmas Going round to my Mum's house for Christmas day and my boyfriend's parents' on Boxing Day. I can't imagine ever wanting to be away on holiday over Christmas, it just wouldn't feel the same.
Favourite Christmas fact Hmmm I don't know many and can't say I have a favourite, but one fact I always remember is that for it to officially classed as a White Christmas, only one flake of snow has to land at one of the Met Office buildings. Oh and I also remember once reading that years ad years ago before Turkey became the propular Christmas dinner choice, people would have a pig's head for their Chrisitmas feast!
Favourite thing about snow I like building snowmen and everything, but my favourite thing is when you wake up to freshly fallen snow in the morning and everywhere is beautifully covered without a single footprint. I hate it when it turns to dirty, yucky sludge!

I'm tagging anyone who's feeling ultra festive and wants to give this tag a go - let me know if you did it!

Happy Christmas Eve! x
