Spicy Chili Scallion Noodles

I know it may seem like all we've been eating are noodles, but really, we've just become obsessed with the variety of them. There are so many different ways to whip up fabulous noodles at home (for so cheap!), that we've been trying out a whole bunch to introduce to you! (Or at least that's our excuse for making them so much!)

Last week we brought you a super yummy Chinese noodle stir-fry, and today we're taking on something with a little more heat. Ala Spicy Chili Scallion Noodles. The simplicity of this dish is mind-blowing, especially when you take that first.amazing.bite. Oh Lawd.

This might be the best noodle dish we've made to date! If you like a little heat, you'll love these!

Spicy Chili Scallion Noodles
2 3oz packages of Top Ramen Noodles (discard seasoning) 1 teaspoon Butter 1/3 cup Soy Sauce 1/4 cup Water 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Powder 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar 1/2 cup chopped Scallions Cilantro for garnish
Boil a pot of water on medium heat and cook your noodles until al dente, about 3 minutes. Drain, return to the pot thats now above a medium flame, and add in your butter. While noodles start to crisp, make your sauce. Combined the next 7 ingredients, and whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Add sauce to your noodles and toss to coat. Allow noodles to continue crisping in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes.
Drop in your scallions and give your noodles one final toss. Transfer to serving plates and top with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
