California Casual and Lace Up Shoes

The warm sun in the middle of winter, the golden rays shining bright during sunset, breezy tank tops with barely there bras, 90% of the year feeling like summer, careless beach hair and over-sized shades. These are just a few things I love about California. Of course, the careless hair and over-sized shades are kind of a anytime anywhere for me.

I really can’t even complain right now as I lay in bed in my Airbnb in Paris, France. I don’t want this to come off this way at all but ahhh there is just something about Cali and looking at these photos makes me miss home (just a little though… still not ready to head home!) I need one more month.. or two.. or three…or…

I found the perfect lace up shoe from Steve Madden. I’ve seen others but this one is affordable, comfortable, easy to put on (thanks to the genius zip up closure on the back) and suede (yeh-yah). Others I have seen are over priced/uncomfortable/a pain in the ass to lace on every time. I’ve been wearing these non stop since I got them right before heading here (Paris). This day I wore them on a hot sunny day in San Diego with some new Zara jeans I picked up for my trip and a tank. Kept it casual and not too complicated because really these shoes don’t need much to look good and if you dress up too much in San Diego everyone and their flip flops give you weird looks (not that that’s stopped me before haha).

Sorry for the MIA status. It’s been hard to get WIFI on this trip and I have had so many amazing things happening that I decided to try and stay away from emails and things while out here.
