Quinn's playroom wall 2.0

Back in May 2013 I shared Quinn's basement play "room" here (full source list is at the end of that post). It's served her well so not much has changed with it. I recently remixed the wall above the IKEA Expedit unit, using frames, prints, & materials we already had on hand. It's got a bit more "Quinn" shining through now.
I've become that parent who frames her kid's artwork. That shiz is precious.
A month ago, my craft closet cleaning session was halted when I unearthed some sequined ribbon. I manipulated that sequined ribbon into "love" with a bit of craft glue. Pipe cleaners, you're next.
The striped rugby bins have been in use for a year & they're awesome! The small size fits perfectly in those Expedit cubbies. So does Quinn ;-)

Quinn's art table's still going strong. This thing has been well-loved & transported from room to room. A lot of people assume she sits here for hours at a time, quietly doing artistical (word?) things. Well, no. She's a wild toddler. A wild toddler is like a blender with the lid off (thanks, Jerry Seinfeld). Still, she uses this table for SO many things if only for minutes at a time. Coloring, play doughing, snack eating, finger painting.....not with paints but with the green smoothie in a kid-proof cup I just gave her that somehow isn't Quinn-proof.
A place to hang her wings after those long days of fairy princess work (removable 3M hooks).
I wear those wings myself when she lets me. It's about to get magical up in here.
