The Great Food Truck Race Returns

Back for a sixth season, this August, The Great Food Truck Race is on with a brand-new fleet of fierce competitors. These food trucks that are competing, are cooking and traveling their way across America's most famous road, historical Route 66.

The Great Food Truck Race is on!
Going back to the show's roots, the seven competitors are professional food truck operators and cooks. They are known regionally around the country for their culinary talents and selling skills. Now they want to be known coast-to-coast as well.

This food battle kicks off in Santa Monica, California, and lasts 2500 miles till they get to the $50,000 cash prize. That prize is awarded in Chicago in an epic finale. Other stops include:

• Sedona, Arizona
• Sante Fe, New Mexico
• Amarillo, Texas
• Tulsa, Oklahoma
• St.Louis, Missouri

“These skilled food truck entrepreneurs and our viewers are in for the road trip of their lives,” said Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Food Network. “Their journey across historic Route 66 reflects food culture itself: fast, intense, creative and delicious.”
