tgif! I’m back in the big apple for a week catching up on emails, work, meetings etc. and it couldn’t be more gorgeous here. The weather is in the 60s, with a light breeze, it’s perfect. So perfect in fact that Nick and I decided to shoot our next editorial in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I went last year so I knew the potential we were working with and sure enough, it didn’t disappoint. Perry Ellis challenged me to put together two looks inspired by the key words from the Spring 2015 Campaign, ‘artfully’ & ‘purely’. For artfully I chose the short-sleeved polo shirt styled in a monochromatic way so it would stand out against the vivid background. For purely I went for a much less ‘edgier’ look by adding a traditional knit sweater, and called it a day. I also wanted to fill you guys in on a fun contest that’s happening over on social. it’s simple, how do you #veryperry?
