NYFWM Part 2

Here we are, the calm AFTER the storm. I’m so happy that I was able to be in New York City when the first mens fashion week hosted by the CFDA & Amazon commenced. Nick, Chris and myself hit the ground running Tuesday at Skylight Clarkson Square with Public School, Timo Weiland & Robert Geller. Some of the biggest trends we saw were the usage of hats, monochromatic colors and jumpsuits! mid-week we found ourselves loving the presentations of Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica & Theory. The juxtaposition of the preppy collection’s and then minimalistic was refreshing. I find myself more of a theory guy these days! And last but not least the final day hosted the Perry Ellis show, My good friend Luis Fernandez’s Craft Atlantic ‘Blue exhibit’ & the rock n roll performance that is John Varvatos. All in All it was very successful, busy and a lot of fun. Big up to AmazonFashion for allowing me the opportunity to check out a couple extra shows via the ambassadorship at Skylight Square.
