{Graffiti} This Is Halloween

This year we finally made time to carve a pumpkin! We had our dose of pumpkin spice lattes, we switched our tanks and shorts to match #sweaterweather, and we picked out the perfect pumpkin. Carving and cider only seemed like the logical next step.

First step to carving a pumpkin is to OBVIOUSLY…name it. Ours? Winston.

How To Cook Pumpkin Seeds Quick Recipe: After sloppily digging out the innards of your soon to be creatively carved pumpkin, rinse the seeds in a colander. Pat them dry, place them in a bowl, and mix in two tablespoons of canola oil. Distribute the seeds on a cookie sheet and sprinkle your desired amount of salt on top for taste. Bake for 45 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 325 degrees. Keep reading to see the end result! Delicious.

While the seeds slowly cooked we took the next steps in giving our pumpkin a bit more…character.

I left the design up to el novio. We were torn behind Jack Skellington and Spiderman. Jack it is!

40 minutes later and the pumpkin seeds are ready!

BOO! What design are you carving this year? Share below!
