You may know me as Val Spiers Sews (valspierssews.blogspot.com.au) There is a connection between quilting and glass fusing. My applique designs are perfect for making fused glass pieces. Since I am new to glass as I start this blog it documents my journey through experimentation to successful artistic and technically correct items. I will be making buttons and dishes and pendants using quilt block designs. I will also be making small motifs and little dishes with motifs and modern designs.
