The upcoming sale is a great opportunity to get a head start on your holiday gift shopping, so definitely keep your eyes on the gift sets this year. TIP: click on the items below to shop right away (affiliate links).

  1. simplehuman sensor mirror ($220). My top pick this year also tops my own wish list (hi Mr. Geeks, for my birthday!). Because my vanity table cannot physically be in front of the window, I don’t get enough natural light for makeup application. The result, more often than not, is over-application of blush. Yeah, the mirror is obscenely expensive, but the features are super attractive: it has a sensor-activated light that is rechargeable by USB or outlet adapter, without the use of alkaline batteries. It lights up automatically when you bring your face towards it, and turns off when not in use. I need it.
  2. Nest Pumpkin Chai Candle ($40). I love Nest home fragrances; they are really well done. I also love pumpkin chai lattes, so this candle is just the perfect marriage of these two loves.
  3. Sephora Collection Dual Action Brush Set ($39, orig. $82). I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it before, but Sephora Collection brush sets are actually some of my favourites. I use this particular brush set regularly, and it’s even on sale! Get it.
  4. Estee Lauder Micro Essence ($105). I talked about my love of EL Micro Essence here before, and I still continue to use it for the softest. skin. ever.
  5. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Set ($56). The perfect skincare set to go with Micro Essence. I need to try Advanced Night Repair serum.
  6. Bliss Rock the Party Set ($70). For the party girl on your list, this Bliss set includes a pair of eye masks that are Glitter Geek approved, along with other Bliss crowd favourites.
  7. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette ($67). Because the Ambient Lighting Blushes are pretty damn special.
  8. Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes & Cheeks ($70). The 2012 Artist’s Palette is still my #1 go-to palette for travel, and really whenever I want to wear more than an everyday natural eye look. So yes, I 100% endorse the LM Artist’s Palette.
  9. Kat Von D The Star Studded Look ($24). Featuring three of KvD’s most popular products, this kit really is a no brainer for those who want to get to know the KvD line. I am most excited about the mini Tattoo Liner, which many bloggers call the holy grail liquid liner.
  10. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide ($59). I’ve been curious about this after seeing how it wears on a couple of beauty bloggers. Need! I’m digging its natural matte and flawless finish for the upcoming cold season.
  11. Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow Highlight Powder ($54). In my opinion, Bobbi Brown makes some of the most beautiful highlighting powders. The Shimmer Bricks are my go-to for the most photogenic “J Lo glow.” This one will be perfect for holiday parties, and it’s packaged in a pretty sweet tortoiseshell case.
  12. Fresh Sugar Lip Legends ($65). This is the perfect set for splitting up into stocking stuffers. I mean, who doesn’t love Fresh Sugar lip balms?
  13. NARS Audacious Lipstick ($37). I bought this in Audrey and it is my newest love. It’s seriously long-wearing, and uber comfortable on the lips. What? It seems impossible until you try it. I can go 8 hours until I need a touch up. Ah-mazing. Buy as many shades as you can!
  14. the original beautyblender solid ($32). The beautyblender staple in my personal and professional kit. This set is a great deal since you also get the solid cleanser, which works incredibly well by the way. If you have a foundation that is way too fake-looking on the skin, try it with a damp beautyblender and you might end up loving your foundation. It’s a game changer, this one.
  15. Formula X Alchemy ($16). Lastly, throw in a Formula X nail polish into your cart. I have been wearing Alchemy, a limited edition platinum shade with metallic glitters. It’s mesmerizing. You need it!
