I Blog about Fine Art with colored pencils done in a painterly fashion. My work requires at times 20-25 layers of artist quality pencils. Having shown in this media for quite a few years, I am constantly amazed at what can be done with a colored pencil. To foster a respect for artists who choose a nonstandard media is challenging, unlike oil or other media of the norm. I hope this blog will show that even colored pencil deserves the respect from collectors and galleries as a fine art medium.
