APOLOGIES AND MY FAVORITE HALLOWEEN DIY LINKS

I've been a really bad blogger lately and I wanted to apologize to you all. My posts have been all over the place, a little lackluster, and not as frequent as I would like, but over the past month I've been busy (mostly) outside of this blog. I had some deadlines due for some projects at the end of September I was working on (which I hope to share soon with you all), the government shutdown happened which through off my entire routine, I've been going to some much needed appointments that have been planned and set for awhile, and we are getting ready to go on vacation for a week so have been preparing for that both at home, work and on the blog. It makes me a little sad that I've been more absent then usual especially in October because I love this time of year (Halloween is my favorite holiday) and I would have loved to have had so many fun Halloween projects and posts for you guys. I mean since we are going to be out of town next week I didn't even put up half of my Halloween decorations and I haven't visited the pumpkin patch let alone gotten a pumpkin (this is pretty shocking, I'm a pumpkin and Halloween fanatic). Oh well, I guess every blogger has that occasional month where things get a bit overwhelming and don't go as planned so you have to just take a step back and not be so crazy about things. Since I obviously have not shared much in the Halloween department I thought it would be fun to list a few links to some of my favorite blogs that have been on top of things and sharing some great festive DIYs. Let's just say for now I'm vicariously living through their awesomeness. So here we go.
1. Make Your Own Skull String Art by A Beautiful Mess - This is super cute and such a great idea! I wish I would have had the time to make myself one. Maybe next year! 2. Dentist's Beware: Halloween Candy Garland Tutorial by A Little Glass Box - I adore this DIY garland Courtney put together. It's such a smart idea. She always has the best Halloween DIYs. 3. Halloween DIY: From Beverage Tub to Chalkboard Candy Bin by A Little Glass Box - This is so cute and great to have on hand to store candy in for trick or treaters. 4. Mini Ghost Pinatas DIY by Oh Happy Day - I told Ian next year I want to have a Halloween party and I would so make these. They are adorable! 5. Classy Halloween Party Plate DIY by House Of Earnest - I love this simple spider DIY. 6. DIY: Gruesome & Cute Halloween Candy Boxes by The Proper Pinwheel - This is such a cute idea for Halloween party favors! 7. Bjork Swan Dress on A Beautiful Mess by Skunkboy - I laughed when I saw this costume made by Katie at Skunkboy. So fun!

Well I hope you all can forgive me! Thanks to everyone for continuing to follow along and support this little blog of mine. Hope you all have a great Thursday and see you guys tomorrow!
