NEW SWEET HOME
Hoy hace 20 días que me trasladé a la otra punta del mundo. La vida es muy corta como para desperdiciar las oportunidades que te puede brindar. Y por ello hice las maletas y me fui a 10.000 kilómetros de Barcelona. Ahora China será mi casa durante unos meses. Me encanta haber tomado esta decisión y me alegra pensar en el nuevo rumbo que le puedo dar a mi vida. Mi intención al venir aqui era disfrutar de la experiencia, empaparme de todo y exprímirla al máximo; país, gente, cultura, idioma, … Después de estas dos semanas, quizás he descubierto algo más, que este mundo, mas profesionalmente hablando, me puede gustar, y de hecho me está gustando, y mucho. Así que quien sabe, después de esta experiencia podrían venir muchas más.
Siendo modelo la rutina es un sinfín de pruebas y mas pruebas, selecciones, opciones y posibles confirmaciones. Es un ir y venir constante, recorriendo la ciudad de arriba a abajo. Este hecho te permite conocer gente del mismo ambito y de cualquier rincón del mundo. Eso me parece muy interesante, la cantidad de cosas que puedes aprender o te pueden aportar es un bien inmaterial.
Concretamente yo estoy en Guangzhou, a muy pocos kilometros de Hong Kong, una gran sede europea en Asia. Vivo cerca del centro de la ciudad, con Judith, mi acompañante en el viaje y en toda mi estancia, otra chica catalana y una brasileña, y dos chicos, un frances y un eslovaco. Es una ciudad bonita, llena de contrastes, pero según me dicen como toda Asia, asi que tendré que comprobarlo !!

20 days ago I moved to the other side of the world. The life is too short to waste opportunities that can give you. So Im packed my bags and went 10.000 km from Barcelona. Now China will be my house for motnhs. I love taking this decision and I’m happy to think about the new direction that my life can give. My intention in coming here was to enjoy the experience, “squeeze” the maximum and know everything: country, people, culture, language, … After this two weeks, maybe I have discovered something more, that this world, professionally, I might like, in fact I like it so much. So maybe after this experience could come many more.
Being a model is an endless routine of tests and more tests, selections, options, and possible confirmations. Is a constant back and forth, traveling up and down around th city. This fact allows you meet people with the same scope and from anywhere in the world. I find that very interesting the amount of things you can learn or you can bring these people is an intangible fortune.
Specifically I’m in Guangzhou, a few kilometers from Hong Kong, a European headquarters in Asia. I live near the city’s center, with Judith, my company on the trip and throughout my stay, another catalan girl and one brazilian, and two boys, a frenchguy and a slovak. Is a beautifull city, full of contrast, but according to all of Asia, I’ll have to check !!
