UNCONVENTIONAL KITCHEN

-an example of why different can be good, very good-
The London based design firm Blakes London designed the perfect Scandinavian-style kitchen, infused with clean lines, interest and warmth. I love the bleached wood cabinets and herringbone floor mixed with freshly painted white brick and ceiling and the irregular dark wood open shelving. I especially love that chair in the corner by the window. Unexpected elements like this make spaces interesting. Proves you don't have to have traditional (or expensive) features like an island to have a cool kitchen. It's a wonderful reminder to think outside the box when decorating any room, even the kitchen.
