My name is Keely. I’m a wanna-be hipster and when I’m not chatting with you here on Hair Bows and Butter I’m working my way through a career in television (I promise, it’s not quite as glamorous as you think). I’m a young 20something and I have a passion for baking, mainly cupcakes but I occasionally like to branch out into other forms of baking (just not sugar cookies, I apologize that there will never be sugar cookies posted on this blog). I love to edit recipes and try and turn them into something new and unique! Sometimes it’s a fail (white tea and white grapefruit cupcakes) and sometimes it’s a smashing success! (spiced apple and blackberry cupcakes). Once I’m done baking I aim to keep my newly grown out hair all tied up so that I don’t have to use my straightener (I’m a bit of a hippie when it comes to my hair) so some instructions on that will be coming your way as well.
