New York, New York

Asos Coat, Banana Republic Blazer, Hat (Similar: 1, 2) and Skirt, Teal Blouse, Etienne Aigner Bag, Similar Gloves, CuddlDud Thermal Pants, HUE socks, GUESS boots, Hand Warmers, Heated Insoles, Toe Warmers, Prada Sunglasses
Personally this was not only my favorite outfit in my suitcase but also one of the warmest. You might be surprised but it really makes perfect sense. Underneath my heavy faux leather skirt from Banana Republic, I was able to layer two pairs of thermals and knee high socks. Within my boots are heated insoles and toe warmers. In the pockets of my very long coat were hand warmers and underneath my coat you can hardly see my wool blazer.
This is actually the look I wore to the Derek Lam show, which was really amazing by the way :) I had an amazing seat and was able to get some stunning shots. I got to go backstage and meet Derek himself and we took a picture together!
I am on the plane back home right now though which leaves me a bit torn. The cold weather in New York was so bad it actually hurt! Especially when the wind blew in our face! But I just feel like there is so much I need to see there and never enough time. Not only that but our hotel was simply a dream come true! It is probably my favorite hotel ever (Hotel Sofitel) actually. I didn't get to meet or see everyone I hoped to either. Overall it was a great trip though and I'm very glad I went :)
Happy Tuesday everyone! xoxo
