5 Minute Autumn Leaf Wreath

So remember that beautiful Wheat Bundle Wreath I shared a while back, along with the story of the moth invasion? Well it turns out that the moths will not be stopped and a new generation of moths hatched out in my wreath and were vying to get in the house every time we went in or out the front door. Despite being in love with my wreath I had to let it go. (Cue musical rendition of the Frozen song….let it go, let it go…) My front door was sad and shamefully naked but I really didn’t have much motivation to make anything elaborate, thus-you have today’s 5 minute Autumn Leaf Wreath. This is a no-fail, easy-peasy DIY wreath that adds a pretty punch of autumn color to your decor!

Supplies:

  • 4 six foot faux leaf garland
  • 14″ wire wreath form

When I was digging through my boxes of decor I came across some faux leaf garlands that I bought last year for my Halloween porch. I picked four strands of the garland in slightly different tones (three reddish and one accent in gold) so it would add some depth to my wreath. {These garlands are a great thing to pick up when you have craft store coupons-all 4 of mine were about $10 last year with a coupon!}

Star wrapping the garland (in the main color) around the wire wreath form. When you come to the end of the garland attach the next to it and continue to wrap.

Continue until all of your main color garland is on the wreath. Next, loosely wind the accent color garland around the wreath and secure to itself.

This wreath is so fast and easy and I love that I can use the garland for a centerpiece or other decoration and then use it for this wreath as well!

Do you have an autumn wreath up yet this year? Tell me about it in the comments!
