outfit: shortcoat

As the weather here has been completely filthy of late rugging up has been a necessity, and I'm feeling the need for easy outerwear. This vintage coat (bequeathed by Dropstitch, thankyou!) has been a throw-over godsend - warm, wool, good cut, goes with everything. I was always a bit skeptical of the old 'hip length' jacket but am now converted. So versatile!
